Retinol 1% in Squalane offers a waterfree solution containing retinol, an ingredient that improves the appearance of fine and dynamic lines resulting from the loss of collagen and elastin, while also enhancing skin texture and tone. Additionally, this expertlevel formula includes squalane, a moisturizing agent naturally present in the skin that improves surface moisture and combats dryness that may accompany retinol use. Our tip: Start with 0.2% retinol in squalane and gradually work up to 0.5% retinol in squalane and 1% retinol in squalane. If prone to sensitivity, consider using newer retinoid technologies such as those found in our Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion. After opening, this formula should be refrigerated and used within three months.
