This ghd wave triple barrel waver is for use on dry hair only and is a hairstyling aid, not a medical device. It is designed for use with a heated hairstyling aid such as a ghd heat mat. General Warnings This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. Burn Hazard Keep appliance out of reach from children, particularly during use and during cool down after use. When the appliance is connected to a power supply never leave it unattended. ghd wave is not suitable for use with synthetic hair. Water & Electricity Safety Warning: Keep away from water Do not use this device in a bathtub, shower, or water-filled reservoir. When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since proximity of water presents a hazard even when switched off. Do not reach for the appliance if it has fallen into water. Additional Protection For additional protection, installation of a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer or a qualified electrician for advice. Electrical Warnings Never operate this appliance if it is not working properly or if it has a damaged power cord or plug. If the power cord or plug is damaged, it must be replaced by Jemella Ltd. Power Supply Requirements Only use with 220–240V, 50–60 Hz power supply. The appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in. Keep the power cord away from heated surfaces. Do not wrap the cord around the appliance. Always unplug the appliance immediately after using. Do not use an extension power cord with this appliance. Do not use outdoors or near water. Your ghd product is a class II electrical appliance and should not be connected to an earth connection. Warning: Hot Surfaces The ghd wave barrel is hot for effective styling. To reduce the risk of burns: NEVER touch the heated barrel. Avoid touching the barrel beyond the raised finger guard. When styling is complete, always switch off and unplug from power supply. Wait for appliance to cool before storing. After styling the barrel remains hot — place the appliance on a ghd heat-resistant mat using the built-in safety stand. When cooled, fold the power cord as originally supplied. Do not wind it around the barrel or handle. Always place appliance with the stand (if any) on a heat-resistant, stable flat surface. Storage Always allow your ghd wave to cool before storing away. When cooled down, fold the power cord in the same way as originally supplied. Do not wrap around the appliance as this can strain the cord and cause premature supply cord failure.
