Before lighting the candle place it on a stable and heat-resistant surface. Trim the wooden wick to 6 mm (1/4 inch) before each lighting of candle. We recommend burning for no more than four hours at a time and removing the nuggets of black obsidian from the candle before lighting or at the beginning of its burning, when the wax is just beginning to melt. Keep the stones to yourself, for luck. The burning time of the candle is approximately 65 hours.
