3 steps to a perfect complexion are swirl, tap, buff. Place a small portion of the loose foundation in the lid of the pot and pick it up with a brush using circular movements (swirl). Then tap the brush briefly against the lid to remove excess foundation (tap). Finally, apply foundation evenly to the face in circular motions (buff).
