Our Marlin Jet Quartz Chronograph captures futuristic design ideals of the ’60s with understated details and a sleek 40mm brushed recycled stainless-steel case. However, its most defining feature is the domed Hesalite crystal enveloping the grooved bezel bearing the Marlin name, bringing captivating depth to its retro-futuristic appearance. This unique crystal covers the entire top surface of the watch case and blends seamlessly into the flat case sides, leaving only the lugs exposed. The case sides smoothly transition to a screwed-on case back that mirrors the crystal’s domed contour, enhancing the watch’s streamlined profile and space-age aesthetics. You’ll find a concentric circle pattern in three key locations on this timepiece: beneath the dome on the inner bezel, on the crown, and on the case back. The obsidian brown concave dial showcases a tachymeter index for determining average speed, as well as a crosshair pattern punctuated with a date window beside the 6 o’clock marker and contrasting sub-dials. Completing the look is a sustainably tanned obsidian brown natural leather strap that’s ethically sourced from the Leather Working Group (LWG) and equipped with quick-release spring bars for easy strap changes without the need for tools.
