About this product
TGC011 Vetiver is a scented candle made of organic soybean wax. It has a burn time of approximately 60 hours. The wax itself is poured into a thick-walled, brushed aluminium container that is easy to recycle. Our vetiver perfume from the EdP series opens up with earth and smoke, and fades into a dry down of amber and wood.
First use: Light your candle and allow it to burn until the wax melts evenly across the entire surface, usually for 2 hours. This helps to prevent tunnelling and ensures an even burn in future uses.
Extinguishing the flame: Use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame, which minimises smoke and soot. Avoid blowing out the candle as it can cause hot wax to splatter.
Cooling: Allow the candle to cool completely before handling. This can take up to an hour.
Wick maintenance: Once the candle is cool, trim the wick to 5-6 mm using a wick trimmer or scissors. Trimming the wick helps to prevent excessive flickering, smoking, and mushrooming, ensuring a cleaner and more efficient burn.
Relighting: Before relighting your candle, always check that the wick is trimmed and upright. This ensures a steady and safe flame.
