Shaving set holder by Mark Braun, chrome-plated by Mühle. Matching holder for HEXAGON shaving brush and razor, chrome-plated with a heavy base so it stands securely. The stand is not compatible with our other series. The series – HEXAGON. Tools at their best: For the HEXAGON range of products, MÜHLE has collaborated with renowned Berlin designer Mark Braun. The result: The finest shaving implements, expertly proportioned – but by no means completely traditional. That’s because the hexagonal profile of each of these products combines contemporary design with traditional – and thoroughly practical – elements to ensure ergonomics, grip, and functionality. A design approach for which Mark Braun has already won many awards. Brand new – but still familiar: Even the matt metallic finish of the handle is new, as is the understated engraving (for typographers: in Myriad Pro font). And yet these products are MÜHLE through and through: The razor features the same attachment as the classic R89. An additional detail that spans the collection is the chrome-plated finish – at which Mühle excels. And the colours Graphite, Bronze and Forest could not be more modern or more worldly – and yet the subtle earth tones are also a little reference to the Erzgebirge, that hilly no-man's land between Saxony and Bohemia where shaving culture is at home. The material – chrome. Without chrome the world would lose a lot of its lustre. It demonstrates its best qualities in the finish used for our wet shaving accessories: The material is corrosion-resistant, very long-lasting and has a luxurious, alluring lustre. When contrasted with this, the colours and shapes of other premium materials are shown to their very best advantage.
