Scherzo is inspired by a passage in F. Scott Fitzgerald's "Tender is the Night”. An intensely vibrant fragrance, full of colour and a rush of sweetness. The composition captures a multitude of blooms: dark red roses, peonies, sunny yellow daffodils and crisp white pittosporum. The sweetness of the tangerine is offset by the intoxicating violet richness of the davana, which adds a touch of liquor to the fragrance. A base of golden olibanum shimmers with oudh from agarwood, earthy patchouli and hints of sugar to capture the feel of a patisserie. Top notes: Tangerine, davana. Heart notes: Olibanum, daffodil, pittosporum, dark rose, peony. Base notes: Patchouli, vanilla, oudh, sweet note.
