The M∙A∙C 221S Brush is a tapered mini blending brush crafted with ultra-soft fibres. Its small, pointed shape offers controlled application and blending of powders or creams, making it ideal for shading eyeshadows, smudging pigments for a smoky effect or accentuating the crease. This versatile detail brush also works well for micro-contouring and highlighting areas such as the nose or inner eye corners.
Apply the colour using tapping, sweeping or circular motions and blend as needed. Proper care helps maintain the fullness and quality of the brush hairs, ensuring consistent and reliable results over time. For daily care, clean the brush with a soft cloth or one dampened with M·A·C Brush Cleanser, gently wiping the brush head until makeup is removed. For weekly care, wash the brush with M·A·C Brush Cleanser and warm water. Moisten the brush head while keeping it angled downward to prevent water from entering the ferrule, then gently massage the fibres toward the tip with your fingers. Rinse thoroughly, press out excess water, wipe with a soft cloth, and carefully reshape the fibres. Lay the brush flat on a clean towel to dry completely before standing or using it again.
