The woody-marine fragrance for men This new, refreshing men's fragrance created by star perfumer Quentin Bisch is based on a long-lasting, powerful salt accord complemented by intense, masculine notes. Le Sel d'Issey Eau de Toilette is made from 95% natural ingredients, 100% natural French alcohol and has been certified as vegan. The fragrance embodies the infinite movement between the two poles, sea and land. The powerful salt accord, a representation of the sea, blends with seaweed and oakmoss of natural origin. Oakmoss is a type of algae that has shifted its habitat from water to land over the course of evolution and thus symbolises the eternal connection formed between sea and land in this unique fragrance. The earthy pole, land, contains intense woody notes that give the fragrance density and texture. Natural sand vetiver combines with notes of natural cedarwood upcycled from wood shavings from the furniture industry. The top note of natural ginger makes the fresh salt accord more intense. The interplay of these salty and woody poles gives the fragrance a dynamic energy that ensures a powerful, fresh intensity. A bottle inspired by salt For Le Sel d'Issey, the internationally renowned Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka has created a bottle with a pure and clear aesthetic that embodies the brightness of light and the energy of salt. The bottle, which consists of 20% recycled glass, is transparent and reveals the delicate colouring of the fragrance, which is reminiscent of salt, the heart of this fragrance. A transparent hemisphere is encapsulated in the base of the bottle, conveying powerful masculinity. The light grey colour of the outer packaging was also inspired by the natural, light colour of salt. In addition to the materials from FSC™-certified forests and other controlled sources, the outer packaging also contains 10% upcycled seaweed of natural origin for the very first time. The matte, slightly rough texture of the cardboard is reminiscent of the feel of crystallised salt. In addition to the 50ml and 100ml sizes, Le Sel d'Issey is also available in a 150ml refill version. Made in France. How do you refill the bottle? You can easily refill the Le Sel d'Issey bottle using the 150ml refill version. - Step 1: Unscrew the pump dispenser from your Le Sel d'Issey Eau de Toilette bottle. - Step 2: Screw the refill product onto the bottle. Refilling will automatically stop once the bottle is full. - Step 3: Screw the pump dispenser back on and close your bottle with the cap. And in no time at all, it’s like you have a brand-new bottle of fragrance!
