Dry the hair with a towel after washing. Then section it, place the styler at the roots and hold for 3 seconds. Slowly glide from the roots to the tips. Repeat the process until the hair is dry. Then turn on the Shine Shot and perfect the look for more shine and smoothness.

This ghd hot air styler is for use only as a drying and hairstyling aid, and only
with products specifically designed for use with a heated hairstyling aid such as
a ghd heat mat.
Handling your ghd hot air styler
The ghd hot air styler contains high-tech, sensitive components therefore
please ensure that the product is not dropped. Do not insert foreign objects,
paint, burn or disassemble your ghd hot air styler. Do not use your ghd hot
air styler if it has been damaged – for example if the hot air styler casing is
cracked. If your product is damaged through misuse or abuse, this will not be
covered under your guarantee. This does not affect your statutory rights.
This appliance can be

when the switch is off.
To reduce the risk of electrocution:
Never operate this appliance
if it is not working properly,
or if it has a damaged power
cord or plug. If the power
cord or plug is damaged,

1. Only use with 220–240V, 50-60 Hz power supply.
2. The appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in.
3. Keep the power cord away from heated surfaces. Do not wrap the power
cord around the appliance. Do not hang the ghd hot air styler by the power
cord.
4. Do not use if the cord is damaged.
5. Do not pull or strain the power cord and do not unplug by pulling on the
cord, rather disconnect the ghd hot air styler by isolating the mains switch
and then by removing the plug.
6. Always unplug the ghd hot air styler immediately after using.
7. Do not use an extension power cord with this appliance.
8. Do not use a voltage inverter or generator with this appliance.
9. Your ghd product is a class II electrical appliance and should
not be connected to an earth connection.
10. Any error when connecting the ghd hot air styler can cause
irreparable harm, not covered by the guarantee.
The ghd hot air styler must be unplugged from the mains socket;
1. Before cleaning and maintenance procedures.
2. If it is not working correctly.
3. As soon as you have finished using it.
4. If you leave the room, even momentarily.
5. If your ghd hot air styler has broken or does not work correctly immediately
stop using and contact ghd (Jemella Ltd), see contact details.
6. Your ghd hot air styler can only be repaired using specialist tools and by
qualified experts at ghd.
7. CAUTION: Failure to comply with these safety precautions may result in
electric shock or other injuries!

The ghd hot air styler heater plates are hot for effective styling.
To reduce the risk of burns:
1. NEVER touch the hot air styler heater plates.
2. Avoid holding or touching the hot air styler beyond the raised finger guard.
3. When not styling always lay the hot air styler on a flat heat-resistant surface
such as a ghd styler heat mat.
4. When styling is complete, always switch off the hot air styler and unplug it
from the power supply.
5. Wait for the hot air styler to cool before storing.
6. After styling the plates remain hot – for safe cooling cover the plates with
the heatproof plate guard.
7. When the hot air styler has cooled, fold the power cord in the same way as
it was first delivered in its packaging. Do not wind it around your hand or the
body of the hot air styler as this can lead to early failure of the power cord.
8. Always place the appliance with the stand, if any, on a heat-resistant, stable
flat surface.
Your ghd hot air styler is not
only attractive to you, but
also to your children. Please
ensure you always store
your ghd styler out of reach
of children, particularly
during use, especially when
cooling.
For safe cooling, cover the plates with the heatproof plate guard.
WARNING: even with the plate guard on, the ghd hot air styler heater
plates are still very hot. Do not touch the plates or allow children or
those with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack
of experience and knowledge to touch the styler whilst it is cooling.
