yourself and others, please read the safety precautions set out below carefully
and follow them, without exception, at all times when using your ghd 2-in-1
hair dryer brush.
To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, fire, or injury to persons, read and
follow these safety instructions before using your ghd hair dryer brush.
This ghd 2-in-1 hair dryer brush is for use only as a drying and hairstyling aid,
and only with products specifically designed for use with a heated hairstyling
aid such as the ghd heat bag/mat.
Handling your ghd 2-in-1 hair dryer brush
The ghd 2-in-1 hair dryer brush contains high-tech, sensitive components
therefore please ensure that the product is not dropped. Do not insert foreign
objects, paint, burn or disassemble your ghd 2-in-1 hair dryer brush. Do not
use your ghd 2-in-1 hair dryer brush if it has been damaged – for example
if the hair dryer brush casing is cracked. If your product is damaged through
misuse or abuse, this will not be covered under your guarantee. This does not
affect your statutory rights.

if it is not working properly,
or if it has a damaged power
cord or plug. If the power
cord or plug is damaged,

1. Only use with 220–240V, 50-60 Hz power supply.
2. The appliance should never be left unattended when
plugged in.
3. Keep the power cord away from heated surfaces. Do not
wrap the power cord around the appliance. Do not hang the
ghd hair dryer brush by the power cord.
4. Do not use if the cord is damaged.
5. Do not pull or strain the power cord and do not unplug
by pulling on the cord, rather disconnect the ghd 2-in-1
hair dryer brush by isolating the mains switch and then by
removing the plug.
6. Always unplug the ghd 2-in-1 hair dryer brush immediately
after using.
7. Do not use an extension power cord with this appliance.
8. Do not use a voltage inverter or generator with this
appliance.
9. Any error when connecting the ghd 2-in-1 hair
dryer brush can cause irreparable harm, not
covered by the guarantee.
10. If your ghd 2-in-1 hair dryer brush has broken or does not
work correctly immediately stop using and contact ghd
(Jemella Ltd), see contact details.
11. Your ghd 2-in-1 hair dryer brush can only be repaired using
specialist tools and by qualified experts at ghd.
12. Your ghd product is a class II electrical appliance and should
not be connected to an earth connection.
13. CAUTION: Failure to comply with these safety precautions
may result in electric shock or other injuries!
The ghd 2-in-1 hair dryer brush must be unplugged from the mains
socket;
1. Before cleaning and maintenance procedures.
2. If it is not working correctly.
3. As soon as you have finished using it.
4. If you leave the room, even momentarily.

The ghd 2-in-1 hair dryer brush heated barrel plate is hot for effective styling.
To reduce the risk of burns:
1. NEVER touch the hair dryer brush heated barrel plate
2. Avoid holding or touching the hair dryer brush beyond the raised finger guard.
3. When not styling always lay the hair dryer brush on a flat heat-resistant
surface such as a ghd styler heat mat.
4. When styling is complete, always switch off the hair dryer brush and unplug
it from the power supply.
5. Wait for the hair dryer brush to cool before storing.
6. After styling the barrel plate remains hot – for safe cooling you can place the
brush within the heat-resistant storage bag / mat.
7. When the hair dryer brush has cooled, fold the power cord in the same way
as it was first delivered in its packaging. Do not wind it around your hand
or the body of the hair dryer brush as this can lead to early failure of the
power cord.

Please ensure you always
store your ghd 2-in-1 hair
dryer brush out of reach of
children, particularly during
use, especially when cooling.
For safe cooling, place the ghd 2-in-1 hair dryer brush inside the heat resistant
storage bag / mat.
WARNING: even with the hair dryer brush within the heat resistant storage
bag / mat , the ghd hair dryer brush heated barrel plate is still very hot. Do not
touch the barrel plate or allow children or those with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge to touch the styler
whilst it is cooling.
