Warnings:: Change tampon regularly, preferably every 4 to 8 hours. Do not wear for longer than 8 hours. A tampon can be worn overnight, but should be inserted right before bed and changed the next morning. If you experience vomiting, high fever, diarrhea, muscle pain, sore throat, dizziness, fainting or weakness, or a sunburn,like rash while using a tampon, remove the tampon and call a doctor immediately. To prevent TSS, use a tampon with the lowest absorbency and change it every 4 to 8 hours or as often as necessary.
